Hunting trips for small game are arranged in the area surrounding the cottages. Hunting time ranges from end of August to end of February depending on game.

Elk hunting weekends are arranged in co-operation with the Sahala Manor in Rautalampi.

The required documents include a Finnish hunting card and a hunting firearms certificate. However, foreigners must deliver their local hunting license to the game district in good time before the start of holiday. The license is delivered by post within about a week, but due to periodic rush times it is advisable to be prepared for slight delays.
