Fishing

  The Lake Konnevesi is famous for its clean water and rich and versatile fish fauna. Fish species include, for example, trout, European cisco, lavaret, bream, zander, pike, burbot and perch. You can fish with a normal rod, spinning rod, trap or net.

  Fishing/catching equipment for rent:
- Spinning rod (permit required)
- Fish trap
- Net (permit required)
- Ice fishing equipment

  A permit for net fishing can be arranged through Hinkkala Holiday Cottages. Trolling/spinning permits can also be arranged within our fishery collective. A lure fishing permit of the Western Finland province must be applied if you want to fish in a wider area. This permit is available at post offices.
